Step 1: Visit https://press.barnesandnoble.com/. 

Step 2: Create an account or sign in. 

Step 3: Click on the Projects tab. 

Step 4: Click on the Create New Book button. 

Step 5: Select Print for the type of book. 

Step 6: Add a title. 

Step 7: Select Keep It Personal. 

Step 8: Select an estimated page count based on the pages in your file. 

Step 9: Select 8.5x11" as the page size. 

Step 10: Select Full Premium Color. 

Step 11: Select Paperback. 

Step 12: Select Matte of Gloss for the cover (I usually do Matte). 

Step 13: Select White 70lb for the paper color. 

Step 14: Upload your interior file. Refer to order confirmation email for link to your PDF and ensure that it has been downloaded onto your computer. Review the proof. Check the two boxes. 

Step 15: Select Upload Front and Back Cover Files. Download cover images here. 

Step 16: Prepare the spine of your book. Add a title and select the color. I typically leave the spine color white and change the font color to #68867f. Review the proof. Check the two boxes. 

Step 17: Review the summary and submit for approval. 

Step 18: You will get an email in a day or two when your book is ready to order!
