Organizing Your Monthly Collections
Now that you have your Rooted Childhood Monthly Collection prints in hand, the next step is figuring out how to set yourself up for success so that you can use them each month!
Your prints were shipped as loose pages to allow for maximum flexibility in how you store and use the collections. Your print has an introduction followed by 12 months of material.
Month, Season, or Full Year
You'll want to decide how to organize your monthly collections.
Some families choose to keep the whole year together to be able to access any of the months at any time. Other families may decide on organizing by season and keeping three months of collections accessible at a time. And still other families may decide that having individual months works best.
Keeping It Together
Once you decide how to organize the collections, you'll need to decide how to keep them together.
Some families choose to put the pages into sheet protectors and store in a three-ring binder. Other families may hole punch the pages and put the bare pages in a binder. You can also take the pages to get professionally bound at your local copy store. Another option is to bind at home.
Purchasing an at-home binding machine is an investment, but it is one supply I cannot live without in our homeschool! You can use a traditional binding machine or a machine that allows you to open and close the bindings like the Swingline system. I personally use the Swingline ProClick P50 and it is awesome!
