The Flower Vault is a new pop up space in San Antonio offering a super fun idea! They’ve created 5 beautifully themed rooms designed for taking Instagram-worthy photos. This is totally my kind of fun so I grabbed my camera, scooped up the kids, and headed over for some photo fun.
The Inside Scoop
Reservations are $15 and give you a 30 minute window to arrive at the Flower Vault. Then, you can stay as long as you’d like. It was a bit more crowded than I expected though everything went smoothly, and I has no trouble at all getting the photos I wanted. Everyone was really courteous and several people offered to take our photos.
The rooms are all beautiful, but as someone who likes to take photos with a real camera, I wish there would have been more natural light in some of the rooms. The three rooms with big windows were beautiful though, and totally worth it. If I had a better cell phone, I’m sure I could have gotten great pics too!
The Flower Vault is only offering this as a limited time run through April so check it out before it’s gone. I chatted with the shop owners on the way out, and they said they are looking to take their idea on the road or will change up the themes for another run in San Antonio. I hope they do well and try it again here!
The Rainbow Room
This room was stunning! The seesaw was adult sized and the kids loved it, but were terrified at the same time because it goes really high.
The Kimye Room
This all pink room was the clear favorite of my big girl.
The Wallflower Room
This room was so fun! The entire room was covered in this dark floral fabric including all of the furniture. They had several suits you could put on to get lost with the “wallflower” look, and the kids had so much fun hiding all over the room. It was pretty dark in here, so I didn’t get many photos but it was a definite real-time favorite.
The Bluebonnet Room
The Bluebonnets were hanging from the ceiling in this beautiful room. It was tough to capture it all with short littles and a tripod! But this room also had some white space right by a window that was a perfect backdrop too.
Be sure to catch the Flower Vault before it’s gone!
