Well, I met my goal of completion this week. Picking up my camera everyday is harder than I thought it would be, but more rewarding too. The photo of us at bedtime was a challenge to set up, but might just be my favorite family photo to date.

Day 1: Eliott’s Balloon October is Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness month and this balloon was released in honor of Eliott Jacob, our angel in Heaven since 3/18/13. He is lost but still loved.

Day 2: fall into the mixing bowl The change of seasons brings fall flavors to my kitchen. I whipped up a pumpkin cream cheese today and this is all that was left.

Day 3: Hold the rainbow Taken during a mid-day picnic lunch, this is my 3-year old playing with baby brother’s teether. The harsh sunlight with the shadows of the trees made for a fun blurred out background. This photo is straight off of the camera.

Day 4: Excuses Halloween, a trivial holiday, but the perfect excuse to have Christmas lights in the yard in October.

Day 5: Farmer’s Market This was our third year to attend the annual herb market at the Pearl. We love the hustle and bustle of the market.

Day 6: Bedtime stories Two books before bed. These are the moments I will miss when they are grown and the ones I hope they will cherish forever.

Day 7: Sibling love This scene happens so many times a day in our house. Gabriella is so sweet to her brother and loves to make him smile, kiss his forehead and hold his hand.
