What a week! We had a stark weather change from our usually fall temps in the 80s down to being in the 40s and 50s, which is nice, but will make it harder to take photos outside. This was also my busiest week ever with photography as I had the pleasure of taking Christmas family photos for eight families. If it’s possible, I kind of need a break from the camera!

Day 22: Fall
There’s something in the air making it finally feel like fall is really here to stay. Maybe we can pack away the shorts and tank tops?

Day 23: Persimmon
I ate my first persimmon today. It amazes me that at 30 years old there are still so many foods I have never tried.

Day 24: Budding Photographer
I love that Gabriella and all her little friends play “photo shoot.” Liam was very serious about getting a good shot of this Nutcracker.

Day 25: Sharing
My two munchkins playing with “Stuart” the puppy in the bright light of the front doors.

Day 26: My assistant
Gabriella helped me test my set up for my Christmas shoots. She is almost always willing to help me and is so patient while I find the right lighting, adjust settings and get her posed how I want.

Day 28: At rest
Some days are best spent resting at home doing “nothing.” Today was one of those days. We spent the day in pajamas, so this lonely pumpkin was the only photo-ready model I had.
